M2 grade donor oocytes are eggs from young, healthy donors who are screened and undergo rigorous testing to ensure she is healthy. For a comprehensive list of donor medical tests please follow this link. Metaphase 2 grade oocytes are mature and optimal for fertilization.
PICSI - Physiological ICSI is a technique used by embryologists to select only the most mature sperm to inject into a mature oocyte. A high-powered microscope (X10,000) is used to enlarge the sperm cell to the maximum during the selection process. The more enlarged the sperm cell the easier the task is to select only the best sperm cells for fertilization
Microfluidic Sperm Sorting (MSS) is a method designed for the selection of functional sperm with low DNA fragmentation using a chip. The method demonstrably reduces the proportion of sperm with fragmented DNA and, in indicated cases, demonstrably increases the proportion of euploid embryos and the overall success rate of the cycle by up to 35%. Microfluidic Sperm Sorting is also a gentle alternative to standard sperm processing, which does not require any previous treatment of the sperm sample and the use of devices that increase the oxidative stress of sperm.
Once the oocytes are injected with the sperm cells the development process of blastocysts take 5 days. Blastocysts have a much higher rate of implantation compared to a three-day embryo; We offer more oocytes to increase the number of number of blastocysts.
Laser Assisted hatching (LAH) of the blastocysts protective outer shell is performed prior to the blastocyst transfer. Thinning of the outer shell increases the chances of successful implantation and pregnancy.
A single embryo transfer of a blastocyst offers several advantages, the most important being: high implantation, significantly higher clinical pregnancy and lower miscarriage rate. A blastocyst forms five days after fertilization and a mature blastocyst contain as many as 200 to 300 cells. They eventually become the structures that protect and nourish the developing fetus. The majority (90.7%) of blastocysts are of good-quality. Our eSET program provides more donor eggs to ensure you have an ample number of blastocysts.
Vitrification comes from the Latin term for glass,. In the context of freezing eggs and embryos, vitrification is the process of rapidly freezing and instantaneously solidifying into a glass-like structure. Embryo cryopreservation is a process used to store embryos at 196°C for later use. Our eSET program includes 12 months of storage. We freeze one blastocyst per straw in storage up to 5 straw.

At Egg Donation Ukraine Fertility, we pride ourselves on having one of the best embryology labs and embryological teams in Ukraine. Our clinic's high success rates serve as evidence, with approximately 80% of all oocytes successfully fertilizing on day 1, and 30-50% of those developing into blastocysts by day 5 or 6.
It is important to note that sperm quality plays a significant role in the success of IVF. Factors such as low sperm concentration, poor motility, abnormal morphology, and sperm DNA damage are the primary contributors to low sperm quality. We have incorporated a new method for sperm sorting into our eSET cycle as a standard practice to address this issue. We capitalize on every available tool in our arsenal to maximize your chances of success.

DOWNLOADMaking the emotional transition to egg donation involves various stages for women who have faced difficulties in conceiving. It may be suggested by a fertility specialist after initial screenings, indicating that egg donation is the most suitable path. Alternatively, if previous IVF treatment attempts have been unsuccessful, you may now be contemplating the use of donor eggs. Understandably, this recommendation can be emotionally challenging.
Your current feelings are a result of your thought process, particularly because you are missing important information and probably don’t have someone who understands what you are feeling to talk to about it.
Through my professional experience assisting couples facing infertility issues, I have gained insight into the challenging journey that women undergo when contemplating the use of donor eggs. This journey is typically filled with emotions such as anger, resentment, fear, and grief. Despite the complexities involved, there appears to be a common pattern that emerges during this transition. While not exhaustive, the information I’ve provided here serves as a starting point for you to understand that third party reproduction is a good choice if no other option is possible.
