Thank you letter and recommendation for parents on the journey…

When my partner and I found out that we needed an egg donation from another country in order to become parents, we were filled with worry. It can be quite daunting to navigate through a foreign country where most of the communication is in a language you don’t understand. The market is flooded with options from various companies and doctors offering assistance in this matter.

By chance, I stumbled upon EDU during a routine internet search. Itzik, the owner of the company, reached out to me on the same day and took the time to explain the entire process over the phone. He also provided information about the cost, without any pressure or invasive questions (complete transparency). He encouraged us to explore other options and compare details, which we did. I even had the opportunity to speak with a woman who had gone through 19 IVF treatments and had also found Itzik and EDU through an internet search. The focus at EDU is on personalized treatment for each patient and couple. Unlike other places where you may feel like just another number, at EDU, you are given individual attention.

Itzik has been with us every step of the way, offering support and guidance from the moment we made the decision until now. He patiently answers all our questions and makes us feel as safe as possible. The schedule is created in collaboration with the couple, taking into consideration their needs and preferences. Itzik truly listens, understands, and shares in our anticipation for good news. He has been there for me during phone calls, meetings, consultations with the professor in Israel, and even during our stay in Kyiv. After the treatment, he made sure I took the time to rest and not overexert myself, regularly checking in with calls and messages to inquire about my health and remind me to avoid stress.

If you have made the decision to undergo an egg donation procedure from another country, my partner and I highly recommend Itzik and the EDU Fertility. Their attitude, sensitivity, professionalism, and transparency have made all the difference in our journey.

Sending lots of positive vibes and good fortune to your parents! And a huge thank you to Itzik from EDU for being a true blessing in our lives.

Making the Emotional Transition to Egg Donation

Making the emotional transition to egg donation involves various stages for women who have faced difficulties in conceiving. It may be suggested by a fertility specialist after initial screenings, indicating that egg donation is the most suitable path. Alternatively, if previous IVF treatment attempts have been unsuccessful, you may now be contemplating the use of donor eggs. Understandably, this recommendation can be emotionally challenging.

Your current feelings are a result of your thought process, particularly because you are missing important information and probably don’t have someone who understands what you are feeling to talk to about it.

Through my professional experience assisting couples facing infertility issues, I have gained insight into the challenging journey that women undergo when contemplating the use of donor eggs. This journey is typically filled with emotions such as anger, resentment, fear, and grief. Despite the complexities involved, there appears to be a common pattern that emerges during this transition. While not exhaustive, the information I’ve provided here serves as a starting point for you to understand that third party reproduction is a good choice if no other option is possible.
